Welcome to the home page of the Simulation and Gaming Lab, located in EME 136 and directed by professor Larry Holder. Currently it hosts the Game Development Club (GDC) and researchers for the Urban Combat Testbed (UCT) and Port Simulation projects. The lab's mission is to make the world safer and smarter using simulation and gaming to address challenges in homeland security and defense.

  • Develop advanced simulation and gaming technology.
  • Generate more realistic models of environments and threats based on sensor input.
  • Accurately evaluate intelligent solutions in simulations.
  • Reduce risk/expense of in-the-field testing.
  • Improve training simulations.
  • Have fun!
