Text Box: I am a doctoral candidate in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the Washington State University (WSU) with Dr. Partha Pratim Pande (click here to visit his homepage). I graduated with my MS in Electrical Engineering from WSU, Pullman in May, 2007 and with B.Tech (Hons) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, (IIT) India in June, 2005. After my bachelor’s degree I worked at Intel India Development Centre before coming to the United States to pursue graduate studies. For a printable version of my résumé please click here.

Graduate Research Interests:

My research interests are in the area of novel interconnection infrastructures for future generations of multi-core chips. Below you can find a list of specific objectives I have been working towards as a part of my doctoral research

  1. Architecture space exploration to enhance the performance of NoCs with wireless links creating a hybrid wireless Network-on-Chip (WiNoC).

2.      Implementation of WiNoC architectures with mm-wave antennas

3.      Comparative analysis of radical interconnection technologies like photonic NoCs, NoCs with RF transceiver based links and 3D integration with the proposed WiNoC.

4.      Reliability in WiNoC fabrics

Undergraduate Research:

  1. Design of a Novel Pollution Control mechanism for Automobiles
  2. Design of a Novel Algorithm for reducing Spatial Redundancy in the H.264/AVC code
