Instuctions for installing and running MetaeXist 1.0-dev:

1) Download the metaexist-1.0-dev.jar file.
2) Install MetaeXist by running java -jar metaexist1.0dev.jar
3) Once installed, set the EXIST_HOME environment variable to the directory where you install MetaeXist.
4) Also set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the directory where you install Java.
5) Run the "MetaeXist database startup" from the program group.
