Assigned readings are from the Weiss textbook.
Homeworks are written assignments that must be submitted to the instructor by 5:00pm on the due date. Emailed submissions in Microsoft Word or PDF format are preferred. Late homeworks may be submitted up to 24 hours after the deadline for a 10% penalty. No other late submissions will be accepted.
Programs must be written in C++ for either the Microsoft Visual Studio or UNIX Gnu platforms. Programs must be submitted via email to the instructor by 5:00pm on the due date. Late programs may be submitted up to 24 hours after the deadline for a 10% penalty. No other late submissions will be accepted.
Students will be required to complete two in-class exams and a final exam. All exams are closed book and closed notes. Students may use a calculator, but no computers. Exams are cumulative.
All work in this course is to be done individually, without assistance from others, except from the instructor and teaching assistant. No portion of your work may be copied from other sources, including the internet. Anyone violating this policy will receive a zero on the work in question and will be subject to the university's academic dishonesty policy.
